主讲人简介：

  胡烨耀，中南大学数学与统计学院教授，博士生导师。主要研究领域为非线性椭圆偏微分方程。在《J. Funct. Anal.》《Rev. Mat. Iberoam》《Int. Math. Res. Not. IMRN》《SIAM J. Math. Anal.》等国际知名数学期刊上发表文章多篇。主持和参与多项国家自然科学基金委、科技部国家重点研发计划项目。入选国家级人才支持计划。

内容提要：

    In this talk, we will first review the resolution of the Chang-Yang conjecture on a sharp Trudinger-Moser inequality on the two-dimensional sphere. Then higher dimensional analogues will be presented. We will also mention some new inequalities involving the second order momentum in the spirit of the Szego's limit theorem. The talk is based on joint works with Changfeng Gui (University of Macau) and Weihong Xie (Central South University).
